Welcome to LexFunis. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use LexFunis.

About LexFunis

LexFunis is an MSME-registered educational technology platform that provides courses, workshops, and academic content in law and forensic science. We are based in India and our services are primarily designed for users in India, though accessible globally.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use LexFunis services. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and your own.

Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately at info@lexfunis.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Course Enrollment and Access

Free courses

Enrollment is immediate upon clicking Enroll.

Paid courses

Access is granted upon successful payment.

Recording access

Separate from live attendance and may carry a separate fee.

Lifetime access

Access to recordings does not expire once granted.

LexFunis reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or reschedule courses with reasonable notice.

Certificates

Certificates are issued at LexFunis's discretion after verifying that eligibility criteria have been met.

The name on a certificate is the legal name entered by the user in their profile, which is permanently locked after the first certificate is issued.

Certificates are digital credentials for informational and professional purposes. LexFunis does not guarantee that any employer, institution, or authority will recognise or accept them.

Fraudulent representation of certificate eligibility or identity may result in certificate revocation and account termination.

Payments

All payments are processed through Razorpay, a RBI-regulated payment aggregator. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay’s terms. LexFunis does not store your card or bank details. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes where stated.

Intellectual Property

All course content, materials, videos, and platform design on LexFunis are owned by LexFunis or its content contributors and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without explicit written permission. Certificates issued to you are for personal use only.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

Share your account or allow others to access content through your account

Record, screenshot, or reproduce course content without permission

Misrepresent your identity or qualifications

Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

Attempt to disrupt, interfere with, or gain unauthorised access to the platform

Submit false financial aid applications

Limitation of Liability

LexFunis provides its platform on an “as is” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LexFunis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, loss of data, or reliance on course content. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to LexFunis in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of LexFunis after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
